The Pain Management Clinic at Advocate Sherman Hospital is staffed by a multidisciplinary team which works to assess a patient’s individual needs and offers a variety of therapies.
Our physicians are the Greater Elgin Management Consultants. S.C. The physicians are board certified anesthesiologists with extensive experience in pain management. Dr Barclay is also board certified in pain management. Our clinic staff includes a clinical psychologist and nurses with specialized training in pain management.

We do ask that patients ask their primary care physician for a referral to our clinic, and that any diagnostic or treatment records for pain be obtained for physician review. This is to prevent unnecessary duplication of testing or treatment.
The clinic is located on the first floor at Advocate Sherman Hospital. Our physicians are not employees of Advocate Sherman Health Systems, but have been granted privileges to practice at the hospital. It is helpful to verify with your health insurance company that both the hospital and physician group are in your plan before making an appointment.
