Breast Cancer Questions and Support
Meets the second Tuesday of each month.
Breastfeeding Support Group
Meets every Thursday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Advocate Sherman Hospital. Registration is preferred.
Stroke Support Group
Meets the first Tuesday of every month from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Advocate Sherman Hospital.
GI Support Group
Serves patients with Crohn's disease and Colitis. Meets the fourth Tuesday of every month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Advocate Sherman Hospital.
Support Group for Grieving Parents
Meets the third Wednesday of April, July and September from 6 to 7 p.m. at Advocate Sherman Hospital.
Mended Hearts Support Group
Supports heart disease patients, their families and caregivers. Meets the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. A different heart disease topic is discussed each month.
Mended Little Hearts of Chicago
Serves families and caregivers of children affected by congenital heart defects (CHD) and heart disease. Meets the second Thursday of every other month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Advocate Sherman Hospital.
Ostomy Support Group
Meets the second Wednesday of the month from 7 to 8 p.m. at Advocate Sherman Hospital.
Shock Absorber Group
For patients with implanted defibrillators and their families.
Brain Works Support Group
Meets the first Tuesday of every month from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
Adult Bereaved Support Group
Meets the fourth Wednesday of February, April, June, August and October from 3 to 4 p.m. at Advocate Sherman Hospital, English or Spanish.
