Today, we bring you the second installment in our series on features of Sherman Health’s new web site, the ability to send a patient in the hospital an eCard. Selecting and sending a card is simple.

The way this works is that you choose from one of six cards shown on the web site (each with a different message written in them), you specify the patient’s name and/or room number (if you know it), add your name (who it’s "from") and then add your own custom message or well wishes.

Simple, huh?

Let’s get started.

First go to ShermanHealth.com and in the Patients & Families tab (the second one over, on the righthand side of the top of any page on the web site), click on "Send an eCard" (the bottom selection).

Once you click on the menu item or icon, you’ll come to a page that allows you to choose from one of six cards (Bear, Bunny, Delivery, Flowers, Parrot or Sunshine). If you just place your mouse cursor (don’t click!) over one of the cards, you’ll see a preview and the message inside.

Choose a card and click it. On the next web page, you’ll be asked to fill in the patient’s room number, their name, your name and you can add a short message, if you wish.

Click "Send" and you’re card will be printed out at the hospital and delivered to your loved one or friend by one of our Auxiliary volunteers.
