Hearing for New Hospital Proposals Live on Northwest Herald Website Tomorrow

As you are aware, Sherman Hospital continues its opposition campaign surrounding Mercy Health System’s plan to build a 128-bed hospital in Crystal Lake and Centegra Health System’s proposal to build a 128-bed hospital in Huntley. Tomorrow, over 30 Sherman Health leaders will attend the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board hearing in Joliet where the board could approve or deny – at least temporarily – these projects. It also could defer making any decisions. It’s quite possible that the action the Board takes that day will not be final.

You can follow live media coverage tomorrow as the Northwest Herald plans to broadcast live from the hearing. To see the broadcast, visit NWHerald.com starting at 9:30 a.m.

We will be prepared to send out an immediate communication from the hearing and will continue to keep you informed as the state Review Board considers the Mercy and Centegra hospital proposals.
