I am in perfect health condition, no smoking, no alcohol, no drugs. But I have been turned down in 2003 because I am from India. I think they told me that they didnt want to take blood from someone who visited a Malaria infected area. I am from close to Mumbai India. After that I never tried. Is there a requirement that you should not have visited India in last couple of years to donate blood? Thanks I will love to donate blood.
