“Focus on Plants” explores the vegetarian way
CORRECTION: We originally announced Focus on Plants would meet Saturday, August 11. The correct date is actually Wednesday, August 8 from 11 a.m. until noon. The post below has been edited accordingly.
Have you considered reducing or eliminating animal products from your diet for health/ethical reasons? Or do you already follow a vegetarian or vegan diet?
Learn the research-proven benefits of a plant-based diet at our “Focus on Plants” class, Wednesday, August 8 at 11 am! You’ll leave Sherman Hospital with the skills you need to shop for and prepare healthy and delicious meals.
And when we say delicious, we mean delicious. Some people (usually the ones with a Y chromosome) are hesitant to try even one vegetarian meal for fear of losing all-important taste. But when prepared correctly, vegetarian dishes can be just as delicious, if not more so, than their meaty counterparts. That’s what you’ll learn at Focus on Plants.

Thanks, Ginger. I got the information from Sherman’s class page – link provided below. I will update the blog post and see that the class page is updated as well.
