My husband died 4 weeks ago, and I was sooo glad that we had talked, many times, about being a donor. When the Gift of Hope people came to talk to me in the hospital, when we knew he would not make it, it was easy to fill out the paper work because I knew just what he wanted to do. He was able to donate kidneys, liver, corneas, tissue, etc. I absolutely knew he would be happy to know this. It made his passing just a little bit easier. So everybody who reads this, think real hard about letting your loved ones know you are a donor, and sign up. Thanks for listening.
