Sherman Health has been hosting an annual Halloween fair for over a quarter of a century, and on Saturday, October 27 this year, you can join us for some freakishly free fun! There will be lots of activities and attractions, and of course, the hugely popular costume contest! Prizes will be awarded to the kids that win the categories Best Character Look-alike, Most Creative, and Best Makeup.

The Halloween Family Fun Fair takes place at the Center of Elgin in downtown Elgin (100 Symphony Way, right by the Fox River) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the 27th.

On top of the costume contest (which starts at 11 and goes until 1), your family will learn about safe toys, tour a fire truck, a police car, and an ambulance, and you’ll get to chow on some hot dogs while they last.
