Advocate Sherman Hospital’s 12-week “Sherman Hospital Internship for Nursing Excellence (SHINE)” orientation program recently concluded with four participants receiving nursing positions. On June 1, Sherman Health officially joined the Advocate Health Care system and assumed its new name – Advocate Sherman Hospital.
Starting in June 2013, the blog will have a new look and our weekly emails will have a different name, color scheme and email address.
Sherman Hospital recently had the opportunity to host 12 nurses from The Netherlands for a unique educational experience. The Dutch nurses, pursuing Advanced Practice degrees from Hanze University in Groningen, visited Sherman Hospital on May 21 and 23 as part of a study tour.
