Every month, Sherman Health employees and physicians are recognized at the Sherman Health Board of Director’s Meeting for their exceptional work in healthcare and service. This month we congratulate Brad Beecher from Human Resources and Donna Errera-Ott, RN from ERS for receiving praise in August’s meeting!

Brad was praised for making enhancements to our turnover and exit interview processes, implementing a new pay structure, and implementing our new electronic performance evaluation system. This revolutionary new system has been favorably received and improved the efficiencies of both leaders and staff. In turn, we have increased the quality of our performance review process and, ultimately, our ability to elevate our individual, team and organizational performance.

Donna was praised for leading our 2011 Paramedic Program where she was responsible for constructing lesson plans for each of the four hour sessions that met three times weekly. Additionally, she worked to improve the experience the students would receive by engaging physicians from the Emergency Department to share knowledge with the class. All 19 candidates successfully passed their paramedic boards. During the nine month class, we surveyed the student’s perceptions of the quality of the instruction they were receiving. They scored Donna at 4.7 out of 5!
