FLU ALERT: Please Refrain From Visiting When You're Sick
1-8-2013
For the safety of our patients and staff, we ask that you do not visit patients in the hospital or any other healthcare facility if you think you may have the flu or any other contagious disease.
Outpatients with respiratory symptoms and fever who are in the hospital for services such as imaging, lab work, emergency or immediate care are asked to cover their cough, wear a mask if possible and sanitize hands frequently.
Hand sanitizer and protective masks are available throughout the hospital in waiting areas, near patient elevators and at Immediate Care facilities.
Patients are encouraged to limit their visitors until further notice, especially those under the age of 12, as this is the age group in our area where flu is most widespread.
